Hotel is in the heart of Stone Town along Kenyatta
Road. It is not the most fantastic place, but
is one of the better budget hotels in Stone Town.
Centrally located, it is ideal for the person
wanting to walk around town.
Another advantage is it's close proximity to banks
where you may want to exchange cash. The
rooftop restaurant has a good view over Stone Town and the
food is not bad. Do not expect lavish furnishings or rooms
with fantastic views. The service is lacking at times, so do
not stay here unless you are on a real budget trip.

There
are 27 rooms in total. All rooms have a ceiling fan,
air conditioning,
telephones, mini bars and television. All beds have
mosquito netting. Safe deposit boxes are available
on request. The rooms are kept clean and 23 of
the rooms have their own bathrooms, whilst 4 of the
rooms share amenities, 1 bathroom for 2 rooms. We do
not recommend that you stay in one of these. The
furnishing is very drab with old 60's style beds and
cupboards. If
you are wanting a place to just put your head down
at night, then this is for you.
