The Sierra Sharm is a sparkling white resort set in a national park.  The national park is in South Sinai in Egypt.  The resort is inclusive of the Savoy and Royal Savoy.  The exterior of Sierra Sharm is like a shimmering oasis.  It’s built around a huge blue pool made interesting with rocks and water features.  All around are dotted thatched gazebos.  These provide shade for guests.  Or they can sip cocktails in the water at a pool bar.  Palm trees bending in the breeze complete the picture of an Egyptian paradise.

The interior of Sierra Sharm is cool and surprising.  After the brightness of the desert sun the inside is very comfortably decorated with large sofas and oriental rugs.  The walls are a pale sand shade and the furnishings are rich and reminiscent of a Bedouin pallet.  The accessories are potted green palms.  Touches of dark wood furniture and screens perfectly complement the earthy colours.

This resort is situated in an area that enjoys good weather the whole year.  In winter the pool (2000 sq m) is heated.  The resort holds many fun activities around the pool area.  All guests make the effort to visit the nearby Red Sea.  The management of Sierra Sharm makes the resort a suitable destination for families.  All age groups are welcomed and taken care of.  Couples also find the resort offers both activities and private accommodation.

Rooms

The accommodation at Sierra Sharm is made up of a choice of guest rooms and hotel suites.  The rooms are light and bright in attractive shades of sand.  This décor element goes perfectly with the natural surroundings of the location.  Room dimensions vary from 25 to 27 sq metres and they are available in family, twin, triple, and suite styles.

Guests will easily find a number of restaurants around the resort.  Sierra Sharm is very aware their guests want the best food and drink.  Apart from the restaurants there are bars open till late.  This is where guests have a light snack with a drink.  The resort has a central dining room.  This is the spot that is open from breakfast, lunch and dinner.  The food is labelled international and kids and adults love the pasta, pizza and stir fries cooked in full view.  Overlooking Knight’s Beach is the Morgana.  This a la carte restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.  Sea Food Island offers the freshest seafood for lunch and dinner.  You can choose to have yours from the open grill while enjoying the view of Tiran.  Those who want a gourmet experience must book at Rosmarino’s for fine Italian dining..

All those who stay at the Sierra Sharma will have plenty to do.  Every age group is catered for.  Guests can dive and take part in water sports in the Red Sea.  A golf course is always a welcome activity to many visitors.  Fortunately there is a stunning golf course near the resort.  Children are taken care of during the day.  This means adults can have peace of mind when snorkelling and skiing.  Or they can simply make use of the swimming pool with the waterfall.  The area is very interesting for sightseeing

Activities: Guests can take part in a variety of water sports.  The Red Sea is a perfect location for windsurfing, water-skiing, diving and snorkelling.  It is possible to arrange boat trips.  The private beach is for fun and sun bathing.  Golfers have access to a nearby championship golf course.  There is a busy commercial centre and vibrant nightlife fifteen minutes away.
