Guests can enjoy dining in one of the Sonesta St. George’s restaurants or bars. The Serapis is the hotel’s main dining room and it overlooks the swimming pool and Nile River. They serve a daily breakfast buffet of international and Japanese cuisine. They also offer nightly themed buffets for guests to enjoy. The Beban serves ala carte Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner and overlooks the Nile and swimming pool as well. The Miyako is a Japanese restaurant opened for dinner and it features a traditional Tatmi room with Tappan Yaki tables.
Also featuring Oriental cuisine is the Aladdin that overlooks the Nile River. The menu includes many grilled items as well as Middle Eastern specialties. For a unique dining experience guests can have lunch or dinner on the Nile Pontoon and it is a great place to arrange cocktail parties. Live entertainment is provided everyday at sunset. The Nobles Bar is a British style pub that serves cocktails and other beverages while Jeb’s offers light dishes at lunch by the pool. The Swim-Up Bar is located at the pool and offers guests poolside service with a variety of drinks and the Lotus coffee shop is open 24 hours a day serving light meals for the midnight munchies as well as fresh pastries and ice cream.
Luxor is one of the most impressive places in Egypt and it is filled with numerous historical monuments for guests to enjoy. It is the home of the Valley of the Kings and Queens and within traveling distance of the Sonesta St. George. Hatshepsut Temple and Medinet Habu Temple are also close by as well as the Luxor Museum and the Mummification Museum.
