Rooms

The Savoy Sheraton Sharm El Sheikh offers guests numerous selections of rooms to choose from. All of the rooms look out over the garden, pool or Red Sea and there are non-smoking rooms available as well as two handicapped rooms and 46 family rooms. The guest rooms are all well appointed and are located on the ground, first and second floors. Interconnecting rooms are also available and the handicapped rooms have stabilizing bars in the bathroom. Each of the suites has a separate lounge, dining area and two bathrooms. They are located on the ground and first floor and include: a sofa bed in the separate living room; work area; double size balcony with a small dining table; and complimentary fruit basket and pastries. The Presidential suite which is on the first floor includes a furnished reception, dining area for six, kitchenette, steam room, 2 mini-bars, DVD player, hi-fi stereo, fax machine and two furnished terraces. The Royal Savoy suites include all of the above amenities as well as exclusive rights to many other services the hotel offers. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the Royal Savoy suites.

Dining

In addition to the beautiful rooms and amenities offered at the resort, guests can enjoy some of the finest dining in Sharm El Sheikh. With casual and formal dining areas, there is something every guest at the hotel will enjoy. The Morgana Restaurant is situated on a small island amidst the pools and offers lunch, dinner, and snacks of international cuisine. EEST is an Asian restaurant that serves dinner, specializing in Sushi, Sashimi, Tepanyaki and wok dishes. It is located at one of the resorts terraces. Sea Food Island is a traditional Mediterranean style establishment that features fresh seafood for lunch and dinner while Rosmarino offers guest Italian cuisine for dinner. The main restaurant at the hotel that serves all three meals is Tirana and it is located on one of the upper floors of the hotel. The meals are buffet style. For guests looking for a place to socialize and enjoy live entertainment, the Savoy Sheraton offers a few nice bars. The Hot Rock is a dining and ball room dancing establishment. Guests are brought a hot piece of volcanic rock and if they wish they can cook their own meals upon it. The Cave Bar offers guests a unique place to enjoy as it is located below water level. Guests can enjoy this watery hideaway as they enjoy live music, cocktails and traditional shisha pipes. The Safari Bar is decorated in sub-Saharan style and entertainment is provided by the hotel’s resident piano player. Guests who feel the need to watch the sunset and the world go by are invited to the Le Balcony Bar where they can be entertained by tribal shows. Finally, the Rocky Pool Bar and the White Knight Bar offers guests beverages and cocktails beside the pool and the beach respectively.

Activities

The resort is located in the National Park region of Ras Mohamed which is in Egypt’s Southern Sinai. The entire area is filled with coastal resorts that is spread along the Nabq coast and includes Na’ama Bay, Sharm town, and Ras um Sidd. There is plenty to do in the area that will appeal to visitors of all ages, including water sports, shopping, and entertainment. Snorkeling is popular in this area as the scenery underwater along the coastline is breathtaking. The water is crystal clear and contains a wide variety of tropical fish swimming in and around the coral reefs. Scuba diving is also a popular activity and there are many diving schools in the area for those visitors who have never dived before. Diving is the premiere sport in this area of Egypt.
