The Ramsis Hilton is one of the many hotels in Cairo that offers their guests breathtaking views of the Nile River Valley. Rooms

The Ramsis Hilton offers guests four different room styles to choose from. Each of the rooms are beautifully decorated and designed for the comfort of the guests in mind. All of the rooms come equipped standard with internet high-speed access and satellite television. The standard guest rooms overlook the Nile River or the city of Cairo. The Suites also offer guests views of the city or the Nile and include a separate living room area, work area, and dining room. Additionally, some of the suites are two bedroom suites with two bathrooms and a kitchen. The Executive and Deluxe suites provide guests with a complimentary continental breakfast and snacks. The only difference between the standard guest rooms and the deluxe rooms is the separate living room area and they all face the Nile. The executive rooms have an extra seating area.

Dining

Guests who stay at the Ramsis Hilton can enjoy a wide variety of cuisine. There are eight eating establishments at the Ramsis that feature different international cuisine as well as traditional Egyptian fare. The Citadel Grill is a warm, casual restaurant that is known for their Mediterranean specialties. Live music is available here and guests can watch the chefs in the open show kitchen as they prepare their meals. For those guests who enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or an evening cocktail the Terrace Café is the place to go. They offer Oriental, Egyptian and international cuisine. Windows On The World is the Ramsis Hotel’s premiere restaurant. Situated on the hotel’s 36th floor, it overlooks the Nile and the Pyramids and offers cocktails, international cuisine and live entertainment. Guests who are looking for a little bit of evening fun will enjoy the Sherlock Holmes Pub. This authentic English pub serves such fare as bangers and mash and shepherd’s pie and they have sports playing on the widescreen television at all times. The Garden Court Café, located in the hotel’s beautiful gardens, presents guests with Oriental and international light meals. Guests can listen to live music here as they try a traditional shisha – an Egyptian water pipe – in addition to their coffees and cocktails. The Maharaja Restaurant serves Indian cuisine and guests are treated to a unique form of entertainment as they watch their chef prepare their meal in the tandoori show cooking area. The Falafel Restaurant serves Oriental dishes while guests enjoy an Egyptian belly dance show. Finally the Hanuman Restaurant offers guests Thai, Indian, Chinese, and Malay cuisine while overlooking the Trinity Inlet.

Activities

The hotel is close to many of Cairo’s unique and historic attractions and there is a long list of places to see. Visitors will enjoy the Egyptian Museum to the streets of Old Cairo to the Pharaonic Village, Pyramids and Sphinx. The Khan El Kahili Bazaar is only three miles from the hotel with the Citadel and the famous Mohamed Ali Mosque only five miles away. Guests who wish to remain at the Ramsis Hilton hotel for a leisurely day will enjoy the health club that includes a gym and sauna. There is also a Galleria of 250 shops that they can browse through or they can relax at the pool or in the video arcade with its own pool table.
