About Presidential Nile Cruises

If you are looking for a truly unique way to experience Egypt, then you may want to consider booking a Presidential Nile Cruise.  Sailing from Cairo, the line was launched in 1978 with one ship.  Since then the line has grown to seven deluxe cruise boats with a total of 500 cabins for guests to enjoy.  The company has always prided themselves on superior service and treatment of their guests in the hopes of making them feel like kings and queens during their journey on the Nile River.

The cruises run between Luxor and Aswan and the cruise line offers three trip packages that span four days a piece.  Included in the cruise are visits to many famous temples and historical sites between Luxor and Aswan, and Presidential Nile Cruises take care of all of the costs to visit these places in the booking price.  There are also other activities that guests can enjoy that make these cruises a nice alternative to a hotel room.

Rooms

The cruise ships offer guests three types of cabins for their cruises: superior; standard; and suite cabins.  All of the cabins include air conditioning, satellite television, radio, mini bar, en-suite bathrooms and 24 hour room service.  Additionally, the larger suites include DVD players and safety deposit boxes.

Dining

All of the ships in the Presidential Nile Cruise line offer guests a five star restaurant that includes a buffet breakfast and lunch as well as an ala carte dinner.  The chef can prepare meals for those guests who are on a restricted diet, and they cater to vegetarians.  Guests are asked to notify the staff of dietary needs when the trip is booked.  Drinks and cocktails are available at the upper deck bar.

Activities

While on the cruise guests can enjoy evening entertainment, including a belly dancing show and traditional Egyptian performances.  There is also an onboard DJ and dance floor for those guests who wish to dance the night away.  The ships all have large sundecks with loungers around a swimming pool and there are massage services available.

Depending on the tour itinerary, guests will be able to tour the Aswan High Dam, the temple of Philae and Kom Ombo, the temple of Horus in Edfu, and Luxor for the visits to the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.  Additional time is allotted at the stops for other touring opportunities that guests can enjoy on their own.
