The Nosy Be Hotel is located on a beach on the west coast of Nosy Be Island, close to the town of Hell Ville and directly across from the island of Nosy Tanga. The hotel exudes the charm of the local people and provides guests with a truly authentic experience.
Near the beach is a large freshwater pool that faces the sea. Guests can bathe in the sun or take shelter beneath the umbrellas. It's also a great spot for a relaxing massage.
There are also excellent opportunities for divers and snorkelers who want to explore the world beneath the sea. There is a PADI dive center nearby as well as a desk near the pool where guests can book any number of different excursions. These range from fishing and quad tours to visits to neighboring islands. The hotel boutique offers a wide range of products, including local handicraft that can be found nowhere else in the world.
After a day full of activities and shopping, guests can return to a dinner at the hotel's restaurant. They serve great seafood, zabu meat, among other tempting dishes. Visitors can top off their dinner with the famous chocolate mousse black Madagascar for desert.
The spacious, unique rooms are all decorated very naturally, yet they still maintain a very contemporary feel. There are 33 standard rooms, 3 suites and 7 VIP suites. All the rooms have luxurious beds and mosquito nets, as well as mini bars and balconies.
The private bathrooms are roomy with tiled floors, glass sinks, walk-in showers, and walls that resemble blackboards.
Near the pool and facing the sea lies a wonderful restaurant that excels in both local and Western cuisine. Many of the dishes contain fish or shellfish, as well as zabu meat. Everyone will find something on the menu to tempt his or her taste buds. There is a variety of deserts, including the famous chocolate mousse.
After dinner, head over to the thatch-covered bar and grab a cocktail, perhaps the famous caipirhina made with Zdama rum. Then, sit back and relax as the sun sets, the sky darkens, and the stars begin to shimmer.
