This recently built Resort is located on a white sandy beach in the small coastal town of Uroa. It’s nestled between lush coconut palms overlooking the Michamvi Peninsula and Chwaka Bay. Marumbi Beach Resort is a 40 minutes drive via the aromatic fruit and spice plantations from Airport and historic Stone Town. The Resort consists of 30 rooms, all with a veranda overlooking the breathtaking Indian Ocean and its myriad of colours shimmering in the sunset. The rooms are tastefully decorated in an African contemporary style and include all the necessary amenities.
The restaurant is set under a big makuti roof, facing the ocean and serves delectable Italian and African cuisine. Every week there is a typical Zanzibar theme and gala dinner.
