The Carlton Hotel in Antananarivo is nicely placed and overlooks the historical Queens Palace and its got the greatest view of Lake Anosy with the well know Angel monument in the middle, looking over the city. The hotel is not recommended for a person that wants to experience local culture but more for people that are looking for European luxury.
If you ever stay at Hilton Antananarivo, the same building with the same personnel is now called Carlton. Hilton left Madagascar because the shareholders couldn't meet some requirements. Now Hilton former personnel are doing their best to provide at least the same service quality to the customers. The new Carlton Hotel of Antananarivo has no direct relation to Carlton international Hotels in terms of ownership.
Situated in the business area, Hotel Carlton offers a wide range of meeting facilities. It can accommodate both delegates and it can host meeting events.
