Boraha Village

Back to accommodation guide

The hotel

Boraha Village is located on the east side of St. Marie Island. Each of the villas comes with a sea view and is set amid a lovely tropical park.

The villas are made with traditional materials and wood and were constructed to harmonize with the island’s natural elements. They are spaced out along the shoreline, so you retain the sense of peace and seclusion that so many people desire while on vacation. All rooms are equipped with shower, toilets, mosquito nets, room safes, laundry service, and a private terrace.

There is plenty for everyone to do while staying at Boraha Village, from swimming and walking along the shore to hiking through the inland of the island to discover the tropical flora and the unique animals, such as the famous lemurs of Madagascar. This history of the island is also fascinating, and the cultural tours will surely capture many guests’ interest.

You could also take a guided excursion into the interior, go fishing, or take a boat trip to visit the lighthouse on Nosy Nanto. Divers will find plenty to love here as well, including beautiful coral reefs and sunken ships ripe for exploring.

If you are visiting during the months of June through September, you might be lucky enough to see some of the humpback whales that come to the island waters. Often you can see them from shore.
No matter how you enjoy spending your days and nights, you will have a great time while at Boraha Village. It is a peaceful tropical getaway and a true island paradise.
