Le Domaine consists of 45 villas all nestled in the hillside with tropical gardens, sea views, and privacy as part of the package. At these villas you are moments away from Anse Severe Beach, one of the more famous beaches on the island. Each villa has its own style and décor with Zen attributes to bring out earthy tones and natural environmental features. There are 10 garden villas, 31 Villas de Charme, 3 Villas de Charme Elegance, and 1 Presidential Villa.
The Garden Villa offers 70 square meters of space over two floors. All villas have kitchenettes, internet, outdoor shower, en-suite bathroom, lounge area, television, ceiling fan, private terrace, satellite TV, air conditioning, and laundry service. Villa de Charme is in the hillside with romantic surroundings and plenty of space for 3 guests.
Villa de Charme Elegance is suited for those wishing a lot of privacy. Three guests can be accommodated in the rooms, though one might want to make it for two. There is a private whirlpool and 100 square meters of living space in this villa. The Villa Presidential has more living space than the other rooms with views of Praslin Island. Opulence and serenity are keys to this room. Added to the many hotel amenities is a terrace with swimming pool and butler service.
All day dining is available at Le Domaine’s restaurant. International and Creole cuisine are offered at the restaurant to entice the palate and fill your senses. Private dining is also available in the villas. A la carte and themed dinners are part of the service at the restaurant.
Le Domaine is on Anse Severe Beach, a most famous beach of La Digue. Visitors from neighboring islands often come to view the white sandy beach and enjoy a day lying around. At the beach sun bathing, swimming, walking, and water sports are all possible. If you scuba dive you may want to rent equipment to enjoy the underwater reefs and marine life that is prolific around the island. Snorkeling is another way to get an underwater view for those who are not certified or do not want to take lessons.
Anse Source d’ Argent is another famous beach on La Digue, known for its large granite formations. These rocks are gray with black staining. The amazing part about the rocks is how they have formed over centuries to guard the white sandy beach. Veuve Nature Reserve is located in central La Digue for a land excursion.
