About The Grand Stella

The Grand Stella Hotel is located in the Stella di Mare resort area right on the Red Sea in the city of Ain Soukhna. The Cairo International Airport is about two hours from the hotel and the Grand Stella can be easily reached from Suez and Hurghada. Surrounded by lush green foliage and crystal clear waters, this resort is the perfect base of operations for shopping at traditional bazaars and sightseeing at the many historic sites Egypt has to offer. The resort sits on a 400 meter stretch of golden sand, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Stella di Mare area. The hotel offers guests numerous amenities ranging from day trips to a sports and recreational facility in addition to state of the art conferencing areas. It is the only dedicated business hotel on the Red Sea with five conference rooms that can hold anywhere from 30 to 500 guests. The conference rooms are all equipped with audio visual equipment and guests who host business events can request catering and entertainment.

Rooms

There are 282 guest rooms at the Grand Stella Hotel that afford guests luxury and comfort. Each of the rooms offers guests pool, garden or sea views and has a private balcony or terrace. King and twin size beds are provided in the rooms and three of the deluxe rooms are handicapped accessible. All of the rooms are equipped with the following amenities: satellite color television; hair dryer; in room safe; bathroom supplies; air conditioning; dressing table; dressing mirror; make-up mirror; shower and bathtub; mini fridge; direct dial telephone; and high speed internet connection. The Ambassador suite offers guests a separate lounge, private dining room, and butler’s pantry. These suites come with one king bedroom or one king and one twin bedroom. The executive suites come with a lounge, dining room and large terrace overlooking the pool.

Dining

Guests at the Grand Stella can enjoy meals from a variety of different restaurants at the resort. The Il Proverbio, Jetta Grotto and Capri are the three main restaurants at the resort. They offer an international buffet as well as a large dessert selection. The Grotto and Capri are open only during certain seasons. The Ponte Vecchio is located by the waterfall pool and it serves an ala carte menu of Italian cuisine. The Beach restaurant serves fresh fish as well as Lebanese dishes and pizza. The Il Gabbiano ‘Pool Bar’ is located at the pool overlooking the beach and it serves light fare, chilled beers, wines and soft drinks. Featuring live piano and saxophone entertainers from all over Egypt, the Café Torino serves cocktails, specialty coffee and home baked pastries. The Shisha Corner Café offers guests shisha water pipes in multiple flavors and the Blu Notte Disco offers cocktails and a live DJ.

Activities

The Stella di Mare resort area offers guests beautiful beaches with sparkling blue waters. It is the perfect place for families and children and the private beach is tranquil and fun. There are also six pools including a children’s pool, a diving area, a large recreational pool, and three private villa pools for guests to enjoy. Towels, chaise lounges and sun umbrellas are all provided. Guests who enjoy sports will love the three tennis courts with racket rental as well as the two squash courts. Table tennis, archery, a health club with fully equipped gym, a PADI diving center and water sports center are also available. Live entertainment and daily shows are also provided for guests to enjoy. Guests will also enjoy touring the Egyptian countryside as the Grand Stella offers guests the perfect place to base their day trips. The Cairo Museum, Pyramids, Sphinx and the Khan El Khalili Zone are all within range of the resort for enjoyable day trips. The resort also will provide transportation to Suez, Cairo and Hurghada for additional sightseeing and shopping opportunities.
