The Chanty Beach Guesthouse, a charming and tranquil little resort, is located on the northwest side of Nosy Be Island, directly across from the tiny island of Nosy Sakatia and about 5 km from the town of Dzamandzar.
The German owner and his wife personally see to the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. This provides visitors with a very personal touch that everyone can appreciate. English, German, and French are spoken, so most guests will have no trouble communicating their needs.
This tropical paradise is a fun, friendly, quiet place to relax, and is located just steps from the sandy, isolated beach. You can walk through the gorgeous tree filled garden, swim, snorkel, dive, or just watch as the sun settles below the horizon.
All of the rooms in the privately owned Creole villa and bungalows have a seaside view and offer a level of privacy that most other resorts simply cannot. This privacy is one of the things that make the Chanty Beach Guesthouse so special. This is great for both honeymooners still freshly in love and families looking to find a great place to get away from it all and reconnect.
You can enjoy a meal and a drink in the Chanty Beach restaurant situated right on the beach. Alternatively, you can visit one of the other restaurants found along the beach, which are within easy walking distance and offer a variety of cuisine styles including Malagasy, French, Italian, Chinese, Creole, and Indian.
Chanty Beach is quite small and private, having a total of only 5 air conditioned rooms between the villa and the bungalow.
The Bungalow contains 2 studios that come with kitchens , shopping can be done at the market which is located in Hell Ville, about 15 km away and accessible by taxi. There is a common door in the studios that can be opened to form a family bungalow. 1 - 2 people can stay in each studio at a given time.
The villa contains 3 rooms, two with kitchenettes and one with a mini bar. The rooms can receive 1-2 persons.
Breakfast is served in the beachside restaurant, and if prior arrangements are made, you can request three course gourmet dinners, often consisting of fresh seafood. After dinner, you can relax with a drink at the beach bar or on your own terrace as you watch the sunset.
