Standard rooms have king sized beds with air conditioning, IDD telephones, shower, television, in-room safes, and coffee/ tea facilities. The superior room is a little larger with a sofa set for an extra sleeping area. The deluxe room comes with a private balcony that can accommodate a large family. Each of the suites offers different options such as the garden suite with a view of the gardens rather than the ocean. The junior suite has one large bedroom with a sitting area and kitchenette. Private baths and a balcony are part of the package. The royal suite is the largest room with two bedrooms, a whirlpool bath, living area, full kitchenette, private baths, private balconies, and the standard hotel room amenities.
Dining at the Berjaya is just as varied as the rooms with six places to dine or get a cocktail. The Pizzeria is definitely Italian cuisine with plenty of fresh ingredients all found on Mahe Island. Parrot is an al fresco restaurant with breakfast and themed dinner buffets. Some of the options include Teppanyaki and Indian Tandoori cuisine. Le Canton encompasses Chinese favorites among the locals and visitors.
The Silhouette Bar has live music throughout the week with plenty of energy and cocktails to go around. The Pool Bar is a little less formal for those who want to get a recharge from the beach with some snacks and drinks. The Casino Bar is open during the evening for drinks and snacks.
The Seychelles are known as granite islands due to the rock formations. Other islands in the Seychelles are also made from coral forming after many centuries. The unique combination of granite and coral has formed islands and thus underwater wonderlands for snorkelers and scuba divers.
