Back to accommodation guide Next Manyara hotel

The hotel
This hotel is part of the large Serena Group. Located on the Rift Valley wall it has absolutely spectacular views of the valley and of Manyara National Park. They have a fantastic swimming pool that looks like it overflows the rift wall and into the valley. We really like the hotel simply because it has many facilities, the staff were very efficient and it is very well priced. It is located outside the National Park and has some awesome outdoor activities available to guests. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating facilities with great food served mainly from the buffet and the pool bar provides a great place to have a sundowner cocktail. The decor is a bit different, but you would not be sitting inside the hotel, but rather outside enjoying the fantastic views.

The rooms
The rooms are typically Serena, being spacious, comfortable and well looked after. There are a total of 67 rooms with 12 triples and 1 suite. All rooms have en suite facilities and absolutely spectacular views of the rift valley.  When driving up the escarpment you can see the Serena rooms all located right on the edge. The concept that Serena has used here is different from many other hotels in that it has created rondavels which house the rooms. There are 4 rooms in each rondavel, which are very private.
